The consumer was rear ended, and the seat belt on the passenger's side didn't hold the passenger who was the consumer's mother, in which she suffered injuries to her neck and arms. The dealer was notified. The consumer was involved in a three vehicle accident. The consumer stopped to make a left turn and was rear ended. The consumer's mother was on the passenger side and had to place her arm on the dash to catch herself and tore her rotor cuff. The consumer requested compensation.

2 Front Seat Belt problem of the 1997 Chevrolet Blazer

Failure Date: 07/10/1997

Where the driver's and passenger's seats fold down, the seat belt goes over a sharp metal piece that could cut the seat belt in half. The dealer has been informed of the situation, not able to correct problem.
