Two problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet C1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 55 mph driver applied the brakes and the pedal went to the floor. This caused the vehicle to hit a ditch. Vehicle was towed to dealer for analysis, and mechanic noticed that both rotors were rusted and needed to be replaced.
Brake rotors warped, causing vibration.
