Two problems related to brake master cylinder have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet C1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Master brake cylinder failed, causing leakage.
When applying the abs brakes on wet or dry pavement the pedal will travel to the floor, causing extended stopping distance which nearly caused a collision. Dealer has replaced the master cylinder and the brake shoes which did not remedy the problem. Please give any further details.
