Two problems related to abs brake fail have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet C1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When applying brakes, there is a vibration and pulsation coming from pedal. . Consumer states brakes fail to stop vehicle and travels an extra 10-20 feet which consumer believes is abs failure, the dealer determined that there was a bad module and the abs fuse had to be reomve in order for the vehicle to operate.
When applying abs the pedal goes to the floor. Abs failed at 10mph and crashed into building.
