One problem related to brake master cylinder has been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet C1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brakes: when driving at low speed and applying the brakes, pushed pedal completely to the floor and the brakes did not hold. Had vehicle in for repairs, and dealer couldn't find any problem with the vehicle. Had new brakes and a master cylinder replaced, and the vehicle still does not stop when applying the brakes.
