Two problems related to brake disc pads have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet C1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
[1] brakeing seemed to be erratic so I went to a dealer to have it checked out. Upon inspection it was found that the rear brakeing system was rusted to the point of a critical condition. [2]life threatening. [3]dealer replaced rotors,disks&pads on both rear wheels.
Front brake pads are prematurely wearing out. The pads have been replaced twice in within 30,000 miles. Dealer states that this is normal. Please give any further details.
