One problem related to structure has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet C1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The spare tire fell off of my 2000 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck and rolled into a school bus. These tires are secured underthe rear of the truck by the same type of cable that was involved in the on going tail gate cable recall. All chev and GMC pickups have these defective cables holding the spares tire and they all are eventually going to fail .
