To much pressure needed to push accelerator pedal when starting out from idle causing vehicle to lurch suddenly whether in forward or reverse. This is especialy dangerous in a parking lot where people may be walking behind vehicle. Dealer fix only lasted temporarily. This problem is now happening on a daily basis.

1. The first incident with the transmission going out was a factory defect. It had problems going into reverse and it would get stuck between 1st and 2nd gear it was replaced free of charge. 2. The second incident was a o-ring busted loose from the radiator that connected the transmission line to the radiator and spurted transmission fluid on the exhaust manifold and spark plug wires with caused the engine compartment to catch on fire. The replaced what they felt needed to be replaced.
Both my 1996 and 1997 Chevrolet C1500's have experienced failed fuel injectors. The 1997 Chevrolet needed 6 new fuel injectors at approximately 13,000 miles. The 1996 Chevrolet had one injector replaced at 48,500 miles. Both vehicles were purchased used.

Fuel injection failed.
When removing foot from gas vehicles speed does not decrease, speed remains the same for several miles in first and second gear.
