Brake Electric Antilock problems of the 1996 Chevrolet C2500

While driving vehicle about 35 mph the vehicle won't stop on time, and brakes make noise like grinding metal to metal. Consumer had taken vehicle to dealer 3 times for repairs.

While driving vehicle on freeway at approx. 25-30 mph, normal road condition, consumer went to apply brake pedal, pedal went down to floor, causing consumer to rear end vehicle in front. Dealer notified.

While trying to make a sudden stop by stepping on brake pedal, vehicle continued to go. On normal stops, all four wheels seem to brake normally. On emergency (panic) stop, the rear brakes feel as though they are not working.

Rear wheels locks up when trying and stop,and vehicle slides until the brakes kick in.

Anti-lock brakes will lock up when going over pot holes/man holes, also brakes fade when stopping.

Whiletraveling 15-20 mphand making a stop by depressing the brak pedal vehiclecontinued to l travel into extended stopping distance. Dealer has been notified, can ot duplicate problem. Please provide further information.

When traveling on wet pavement and upon depressing the brake pedal to make a normal stop all four wheels locked up, causing the vehicle to go into a skid , and resulting in extended stopping distance. Consumer has contacted the dealer.

Abs braking system on left side is locking up, and the right side is doing nothing. This happens on wet conditions or on snow. Consumer has contacted dealer.

Abs brakes; when applying the brakes in normal conditions, there is an extended stopping distance before vehicle comes to a stop.

Abs brakes; when applying the brakes in a panic stop, the pedal gets hard and there is an extended stopping distance.

Anti-lock brakes lock up on occasions.

Brakes pull.

Owner has abs brakes, he states that he has no braking power while going down a hill. Also, while starting vehicle in the morning the brakes grab. Owner notes that dealers cannot fix problem.
