One problem related to battery cable has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Camaro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Battery volt guage drops below 8 volts, dash and headlights dim, windows roll up and down very slowly. After 30 seconds power returns. This takes place when no external devices are activated. Dealer said all camero's have this problem. Been in shop 2-3 times - they verify but can not repair. Dealer said is not a safety or drivability issue. I am not so sure. .
