Five problems related to electrical system have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Camaro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Interior/exterior lights flicker when idling.
Engine stalls when coming to a stop. In addition, the battery volt gauge drops below 13. This doesn't happen every time I come to a red light, but it happens frequently enough. Also, after filling the vehicle with gas, the engine stalls almost immediately after it is started. (only when in drive).
On 4 different occasions the gauges went crazy and reset everything on the cluster. On one occasion while doing 60 mph this occurred. Has been taken to dealer with no resolution. ****dimsii ivoq entry posted after 12/12/02 cut-over to artemis****724550.
