The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that the vehicle remained on although the key had been removed from the ignition switch. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer. The technician was unable to replicate or diagnose the failure. The technician advised the contact to disconnect the speaker amp as a temporary fix. The remedy failed to repair the failure. In addition, the contact indicated while traveling 60 mph on a major highway, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was merged to the side of the road and after several attempts the vehicle was able to restart. The vehicle was to be further inspected, diagnosed and repaired by an authorized dealer. The contact was notified of recall NHTSA campaign id number: 14v346000 (electrical system). However, the parts needed to perform the repair were not available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 28,000.
