Please help me. I am having difficulty with rotolo Chevrolet in fontana, California providing me with a new replacement key in exchange for the Camaro knee-key recall no. 14v346key without charge. I do not feel safe driving my car with the original key that came with the Camaro, my safety is at risk, and rotolo Chevrolet is wrongfully charging $506. 00 for the recall replacement I am the original owner of my 2013 Chevrolet Camaro (VIN: 2g1fa1e32d9177685 ) and I only have the original key that came with the car when purchased in 2013 (see pictures). On Saturday, April 3, 2021, I had an 11:30 a. M. Appointment with rotolo Chevrolet in fontana, California to replace my original key due it being recalled. Rotolo Chevrolet advisor samuel aceves said I had to pay $506. 00. Mr. Aceves said that even though I have the original key (he held my key personally and confirmed it was the original; not a recall replacement two-part key) he cannot replace the key unless I pay for it as his paperwork says the recall was completed. I explained his record is incorrect as the only key I have is the original. While at rotolo Chevrolet, I placed an order for a new key even though I did not agree with being charged $506. 00 for a recall replacement key. I had to continue with the process to order a new key because of my safety. Due to the receipt stating declined repairs, I called rotolo Chevrolet on Monday, April 5, 2021. I spoke with alma and she said she was going to explain my recall key matter with a manager (enrique), and transferred me to mr. Aceves regarding the error on the receipt stating I declined the replacement key. I only declined the charge of $1,492. 00, due to a short in the connection to my onstar and radio. This was too expensive. They also charged me $180. 00 for no work done. Ms. Marion louise carter (909) 994-6996 marioncarter@alumni. Csusb. Edu.

Hello im reaching out due to a safety concern with my 2014 Camaro. The VIN in located in the subject line above. I reached out to gm letting them know that I was having issues with my stereo. The speakers are also affected when the problem persists. . The car will turn on and I will be able to play anything through the stereo, like the radio, a cd, an aux cord and even sirius xm but randomly the stereo has a loud noise that screetches through the speakers which cause a great amount of discomfort. Then the stereo resets and is only able to be used via aux at a lower volume amd even way different sound quality. Its very strange and really inconvienent while driving, a few times it scared me so abruptly that I almost wrecked due to an anxiety attack. Its a well know issue with this model from years 2011-2015 if you google "camaro stereo problems" you will see a few different web forums comparing issies with this particular one being brought uo more than anything else. Gm informed me that the only way of getting to the bottom of the problem is to take it in to get a diagnostics done which is out of my price range at the moment due to covid. But anyways all that should be put to the side when it comes down to being a safety concern. Thanks in advance. I know alot of ppl would love to enjoy a normal drive without being startled by a loud guitar amp popping noise. I miss good drives while listening to music with good quality.

While driving, my radio will pop and shut off, which also causes my ac to not work. Recently it has also effected my turn signals and other dash board areas and it does it no matter if I'm legit driving or sitting still. There are literally hundred of people having this issue and nothing has fixed it yet!.
While driving on the highway, my car's electronics shut off. The speedometer, tachometer, turn signals, hud unit, and radio stopped working but the car was still running and could be driven normally (responded to gas, steering was fine etc). I could not put the rear passenger window up but all of the other windows opened and closed. The convertible top would not work. After parking and restarting a few times the problem went away but eventually came back and happens all the time. I have made an appointment with the dealership to check this out. The following warnings display on the display: service theft deterrent system service airbag service parking assistant service tire monitor system open, then close passenger window.
I'm having electrical issues causing my radio, ac, and turn signals to malfunction. In addition it's making loud and distracting popping and squealing noises, and sounds that may be electrical sparking noises. Gm told me it's out of warranty so they don't care. It happens whenever the ignition is on (all types of streets & freeway), but not in accessory.
I have been experiencing problems with my radio for about 10 months now. The problem started when I pressed on my brakes in a city street and the radio turned off and turned back on after a few seconds. I found it odd, but ignored it initially. This problem started to happen more regularly, with a strong association between the radio turning off and back on to using the brakes on my car. Over the course of several months, the problem became more significant, happening more frequently during my drives, and no longer associated with braking, it would just happen randomly now. The radio would turn on and off repeatedly during my drives, whether I was on a city street or highway. At this point, my air would also turn on and off when the radio would start glitching. There were times when I would turn on my car and the radio just wouldn't turn on at all. There was one time that it took 20 minutes into my drive for the radio to finally turn on, only for it to start turning on and off again. This problem can be very distracting while driving, and may cause an accident. As a result, I had to remove the radio from my car and I just drive in silence. The air no longer turns on and off and I can drive peacefully, even though I would love to listen to the radio while I drive.
The radio makes very loud popping noise and all power cuts out to the display, turn signals, heating/cooling functions. This happens repeatedly every time driving the vehicle. The triggers are using the power windows, using turn signal, adjusting heat/ac, or putting the vehicle into reverse. Not only is it inconvenient to not have radio or heat/ac. It is also a safety hazard to not have turn signals and have very loud and distracting popping noises while driving. I have heard from other Camaro owners and every one of this model has the same issue around 40,000 miles.
While traveling, the radio suddenly made a loud pop noise and the information panel went out. . . Information panel began flickering on and off, also affecting the ac/heat controls and when using the blinker, it wouldn't make a signal sound. The lack of blinker sound leads me to wonder if the blinkers even work when this happens. This problem randomly happens and when it does, it's very distracting and the loud pop noise is extremely upsetting. I have found on numerous forums that this seems to be a major issue with the chevy Camaro and gm doesn't seem concerned. I believe this is a major safety issue that needs to be addressed. It first happened to my car on Dec. 5, 2019 and has continued to randomly happen since.
Shortly after I start my car and turn on the radio a load popping sound will come through the speakers and the sound from the radio will go off. The radio panel will stay lit, but no sound will come out and the buttons on the radio will not work. It also will not accept a cd. It will stay like this for awhile. The next time I start car it will do the same thing. It used to do this randomly at first with no rhyme or reason for it. It started more than 6 months ago and has gotten worse. It used to play a little while before popping sound and no sound. Now it only stays on seconds, pops and goes off. Sometimes it won't work again for hours or days. At first I heard loud static in my speakers when I used the turn signals, but not anymore. There doesn't seem to be an specific pattern. I do see that many people are having this same or very similar problems with their Camaros. Why hasn't there been a recall. It's obviously a big problem that a lot of Camaro owners are having. It happens when it's stationary and/or in motion.
When parking and powering the vehicle off, the key remains stuck in the ignition. I have to repeated power the car on and off, re-placing it in park for the key to finally be released. . . Also, the radio often powers off and on, causing my dashboard to go dark. When this happens, I also cannot hear the turn signal indicator when making a turn. These issues have been happening for some time now. . . From what I have read in the complaints, this is an issue with many Camaro owners. Why is there no recall for this?.
I have a 2015 cameo the key won't come out the ignition when this first happened to me I called gm just to be rudely talked to the second time it happened my radio went out and it stop my heat and air from working when I first got this car I purchased it brand new just to find out it was rusty under the bottom but they fixed that and I've been having problems every since nothing works in my car the seats won't go up in down until they get ready I've tried to contact gm but they won't return my emails this electrical problem is driving me crazy and I'm paying to much for this car to miss up like this I have less than 70 thousand miles on it and I still have some kind of warranty on it.
There is something wrong with the electrical of the radio and a/c units on these models. When driving, the radio and a/c automatically shut off and makes this loud popping sound through the speakers whether the radio is turned on or not. It almost sounds like something hitting the car and it is extremely dangerous and distracting to the driver. I thought it was just my vehicle that this was happening too but when I looked on you tube I found other Camaro owners with the same model having the same issue. I contacted general motors but they said wanted to me to pay to diagnose the issue which made no sense because they should do so out of concern for the safety of the driver and others on the road. After telling me that was my only option the customer service agent told me that they don't even decide recalls on their vehicles and that they have to be issued by the NHTSA.
Tl the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro. While operating the vehicle, the turn signals would erroneously activate and randomly blink on and off. The contact indicated that the radio would also blink off and on and a loud popping noise would occur. The vehicle was taken to tom bell Chevrolet (800 alabama st, redlands, CA) where it was diagnosed that the radio unit was faulty and needed to be to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 68,000.
The radio comes on and off randomly and when it does the turn signals don't make a sound.

Radio, a/c, turn signals turn on and off intermittently, when car is turned on.
"takata recall" I have a 2014 chevy Camaro and when the car is being driven on the hwy, sitting still or on a city streets. The chevy Camaro radio will turn it's self off. Sometimes their is a loud thump noise before the radio turns off and other times no thump. It will sometimes come back on after several minutes, or it might stay off. This is a very big problem, because I have read other posting concerning this problem with the 2014 Camaro. I have only had this car a week and this has happened at less 6 times. Not happy about purchasing this car now, if this is how it's going to be. I'm only 23 year old and I cant afford to have to take it to the shop.
My radio, dash lights, and climate control panel flashes on and off then makes a pop sound. The radio does not work, and the heat & ac works intermittently. This happens when the vehicle is sitting still or moving.
The radio system- mylink had to be rebooted twice since purchasing the vehicle. First time under warranty, second time out of warranty and had to pay $125 diagnostic fee for dealer to simply upload an update that took 10 minutes. Vehicle was stationary in both instances.
Interior door panel rattle. When listening to the radio with mild bass, the door sounds like has marbles inside of it. Dealer stated the bass level is too high on my first attempt to have it repaired. Second attempt to repair the volume was quarter of the way up and you could here it. Dealer found a TSB on the issue and had to order special flocking tape for the door panels. I'm unsure if this has fixed the problem or not at this point because the vehicle is still at the dealer for other repairs.
Stereo going in an out. Heat and air improperly working and blowing only when radio works.
Started a few weeks ago the heat wouldn't heat and the heat and radio would turn off and on this happens everytime you get in the car. Winter is here and without a heater that is not safe!! this happens if the car is in motion, stationary city streets and on highway please help!!!!.
Shark fin antenna has very poor reception, causes onstar to lose connection often in places it shouldn't as well as navigation through radio to not work when it should and radio,xm,etc. Dealer said it was a common thing in the Camaro shark fin. Happens very often from the day I purchased the car to present.
One evening I got in my car and turned the heater on. Immediately, my windshield fogged up and the air coming out of the vents had a very strong odor, which smelt like coolant. For the entire drive (20 min) I could not get the windshield to defog. The next day, I drove my car and it was running extremely hot (about 220-250f). When I parked, I noticed that my car was leaking coolant. I tried to locate the source of the leak, but it was leaking from the middle of the car- about where the radio is. Not being able to locate the leak, I filled up the radiator with water to get me home without over heating. When I got home I found a large puddle of coolant where my car was parked overnight. After doing some research, I found many other Camaro owners who had foggy windshields, coolant smell in hvac system, and leaking coolant. They said these were the signs that the heater core "went out. " I then went to look near my heater core, and sure enough, I had coolant on my passengers floor board and found drips of coolant below the heater core. Many of the Camaro owners have shared their experience with having this problem repaired and it sounds like the front seats, windshield, and dash have to be removed to replace the heater core. This is on average about a $2000 repair at a dealership. With how many cases there seems to be just from a quick search online, this should be issued a recall! this is also a safety concern- hot coolant could have dripped on my passenger's feet and burnt them.

My ac blend door broke off causing my driver side to blow cool air and my passenger to blow cold air. Also my oem radio shuts off randomly and sometimes causes my turn blinkers to no work. The dealer can not explain why this has happened.
