The contact owns a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier. While driving 60 mph the vehicle will begin to vibrate. Also when striking a small bump on the road way, the vehicle will fish tail. During the installation of new tires, she was advised that the vehicles sub frame had corrosion. It cost $3500. 00 to repair the frame. No repairs were made. The failure mileage was 170000. The current mileage was 172000.
My sub-frame has broken twice on my Cavalier. I don't want to repair it anymore!!!.
I was stopped at red light and when the light turned green I took off and felt a pull to the passenger side. I had my brother in law check it out and the sub-frame was rotted. We replaced it but feel this needed to be brought to your attention.
My Cavalier frame rotted and broke. This is very serious do to the fact that I lost control of my vehicle and almost crashed.
Frame pulling apart at weld on passengers side, below door. It is causing the windshield to "pop" door and window stick shut and gas door sucked in!.
