Have had the followin. Engine knock gm claims can not be fixed, have now many times hard start or complete shut down of engine when driving, hed to steer to pull over. Truck need to cool down then restarted. Also since upgraded drive shaft and upladed new info to computer for more tourque have stepped on gas but afew secod delay b/r engaged. Took for service gm claims can't find problem.

Failure Date: 08/09/1998

Traveling about 100mph, when vehicle died out. Took to dealer & was informed safety feature built-in due to requirement by NHTSA. Computer has a built-in safety feature.
