Chevrolet Classic owners have reported 1 problem related to ignition (under the electrical system category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have a 2005 chevy Classic that fails to start due to a faulty security system. When the car fails to start the security system light begins flashing. In order to reset the security system I have to place the key in the on position and wait for 10 minutes. The security light stops flashing and I can then take the ignition to the off position and attempt to start the car again (it sometimes fails to start again and there goes another 10 minutes). I have done some research on the internet and have fount this to be a problem with many gm cars from 99 to 05. I wonder why a recall has not been made for this problem.
