The contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado equipped with tbc tires, tire line: sigma shadow, and tire size: p225/75r15. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, there was an abnormal noise coming from the front passenger side tire. The contact discovered that the front passenger side tire tread separated from the side wall of the tire. The tire was not replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate tire and vehicle failure mileage was 79,166.

Dt: the tires wobble on the vehicle and make the vehicle vibrate. There have been 13 tires put on this truck since 9-27-04. The truck also fishtails on these tires when the speed is 50 and over. Gm has been contacted and all they want to do is extend the warranty and keep replacing the tires. Gm has informed the owner that these general tires, general ameritrac tr are the only tires that are showing wear on the inside. All four tires on all four locations have been replaced. The rear passenger tire has been replaced one extra time for a factory defect. This is a z-71 suspension. The correction: the dealership keeps changing out the tires and gm has supplied a rental vehicle while this has been an on going issue. The tire are general ameritrac tr. Tire size 265/75r15.
