: the contact stated the passenger side door does not have a keyed lock. The key fob must be used to gain entry. The manufacturer determined this is how the vehicle was manufactured.
The passenger door on the Colorado (without electric locks) does not have a key lock to open the door. Chevrolet says this was decided by a focus group and does not have a kit to rectify this problem. The only entrance to the locked vehicle is through the driver's door. A case number is furnished and Chevrolet refers to the dealer who does not have a kit as of this date.
