The contact stated that the vehicle stalled several times. The contact had to wait multiple times before attempting to restart the vehicle as the failure progressed with the motor. The dealer (spitzer Chevrolet northfield, 333 e aurora rd, northfield, OH 44067, (330) 800-5163) diagnosed that the engine assembly needed extensive servicing and that the engine assembly may need to be replaced. The manufacturer had issued no recalls on the engine and 45 TSB on the engine however the contact was uncertain if the part may fail again if replaced by the same oem part. The contact was uncertain if the manufacturer changed the part with a newly designed engine assembly that was deteriorating. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
