1 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 10/30/2016

The contact owned a 2007 Chevrolet Colorado. While stationary, the vehicle suddenly changed gears and accelerated to approximately 40 mph. As a result, the contact crashed into two parked vehicles. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The driver sustained injuries that required medical attention. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to a tow yard. The failure mileage was unknown.

2 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 03/16/2014

Pulling into parking spot and truck came to dead halt, looked down and the 4 wheel low had engaged. Vehicle wouldn't move and made awful grinding noises finally got it back into 2 wheel drive. (note the 4 wheel had stopped working completely at the end of February during a cold snap and lots of snow) went to drive home and truck again engaged into 4 low at 70 mph on highway immediately slowing me down to 20 and almost throwing me out of control. Have no idea if it made grinding noises then as I thought I was going to crash. There was an officer behind me that almost hit me but he followed me home to make sure the truck got there. There have been numerous other little issues with the truck like not starting, rear brakes blowing apart,u joints went out at 25,000 miles, engine not sealed properly per mechanic as got water in it last year.
