Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled several times with no warning. In addition, the engine light illuminated, the a/c and heating also failed to function intermittently. The dealer sanborn Chevrolet, 209-334-5000 ext 8655, 1210 s cherokee ln, lodi, CA 95240 diagnosed that the valve guides in the heads of the engine needed to be replace. So the dealer was indicating that engine assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired by the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, had not issued a recall to provide a remedy and had issued 54 TSB on the engine, 111 TSB on the electrical system and provided no assistance other than the dealer repairing the vehicle.
