general problems of the 2008 Chevrolet Colorado

I was driving along the road and smoke began to fill my cabin. The smoke was stronger on the passenger side vents. Shortly after flames began to appear between my wife's feet through the floorboard. I called an attorney and the bar association and was told there was nothing that could be done and a suit would get me know where since he was not married. I called on star and they gave me their condolences. Everywhere I turned was a dead end. But I just feel it isn't right and if the airbag would have worked I would still have my son today.
