The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado. While driving 70 mph, the cruise control failed. Upon further inspection, the contact was informed that the brake lights also failed. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 77,000.
I discovered I had no brake lights when driving. I had this fixed at the dealer and it was the stop lamp switch malfunctioning. It turns out there is a recall on this part for 2004-2009 Colorado's but not my 2010. Somebody could of been killed!.
