After completing a right turn with a right turn signal, the vehicle will sometimes signal a left turn for 3 blinks. I can feel and hear a clicking from the turn signal switch when initiating the signal to turn right. Gm issued TSB 24-na-235 which was performed on my 2024 Colorado but it did not resolve the problem.
The turn signals to not function correctly and give inaccurate signals to other drivers. Most (perhaps all) times, when signaling a right turn, after the right turn signal deactivates, the switch "overcorrects" and signals a left lane change (three blinks to the left). This no doubt leads to confusion to other drivers and could cause a accident. Turn signal must work flawlessly! this problem has been broadly reported on the chevy Colorado internet forum.
Vehicle headlights provide very poor lighting in fog or in rain at night. It is impossible to see highway lane markings.
I'm having an issue with my 2024 Colorado trail boss. After making a right hand turn with the signal on, once the stalk bounces back, it overcorrects and 'taps' the indicator and flashes left 3 times. I've seen some other owners having this issue on online forums throughout the Colorado and GMC canyon lineup. I think it's a pretty big safety concern to give improper navigation signals, 50% of the time I take a right hand turn.
