Engine problems of the 1996 Chevrolet Corsica

Two problems related to engine have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Corsica. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Engine problem

Failure Date: 01/20/2001

Intake gasket set/has to be replaced to stop leaks on many Corsicas of that year.

2 Engine problem

When I bought the car there was a small leak of pink fluid thinking it was transmission fluid I took it to a garage and he put a new trasmission gasket on but didnot stop the leak come to find out this was all coming from the head gasget which should be good for alot longer then 45,000 miles and I think Chevrolet should pay to replace it which will cost $450. 00.
