One problem related to front suspension wheel bearing has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Corvette. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 55 mph an animal jumped out in front of the vehicle when consumer slammed on the brakes the front driver side wheel assembly separated from the vehicle and rolled under the vehicle. As a result, consumer lost control, hitting a tree. Vehicle was c totaled. Driver sustained head injuries.
