Interior Rearview Mirror Problems of Chevrolet Corvette

The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vibration from the vehicle fractured the mounting assembly to the rear view mirror. The vehicle was later taken to a dealer where the contact was advised that the socket in the mirror was fractured and the entire mirror assembly would need replacing. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact noticed when looking into the rear view mirror, the head liner drooped and obscured his vision. On three occasions, the dealer stated that they could not repair it since that was how they were made. The manufacturer was not notified. The current mileage was approximately 5,700 and the failure mileage was approximately 100.
