TSB # 16-na-015 engine stall or stumble,ignition coil wire fretting. I can not figure out why this is not a safety recall. Other than g. M. Not interested in being responsible. My car stalled while driving and I had no brakes and no steering. It dont take a lot of thinking as to what can and will happen without brakes and steering. My car was towed to the dealership and the above issue was confirmed. The TSB was issued 1-21-2016 and all 2011-2014 may be affected. Please advise me with a follow up on this major problem. This is my second report on this with no response. This wont go away by ignoring the issue. Lets take care of this before accidents.
Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact was driving at approximately 50 mph, when the engine stall and the steering wheel seized up. The vehicle could restart after multiple attempts and was driven to the contact's home. The vehicle has not been taken to the dealer to be diagnosed and repaired. The manufacturer has not been notified. The approximately failure mileage was 39,592. Jo.
Tl-the contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the radio turned on and off intermittently, the gauges fluctuated, the interior lights and headlights turned on and off intermittently. The contact stated that the engine stalled and when the ignition was turned to the off position the key did not release. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure was unknown. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000. Djr.
