general problems of the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze - part 2

The vehicle was working fine, I drove it the night prior back home and parked it in my garage like I normally do. When I went to leave the next morning, the car would not start. The engine wouldn't even turn over but the radio and what not would turn on. We tried jumping the car, charging the battery, changing the battery out and nothing worked. We got it towed to the auto shop and they said that they could not fix the vehicle as it's electrical. We live in the desert and the closest dealer is over an hour away in palm springs so now we have to get the vehicle towed there, at our expense, to try and get it looked at.

Car been jerking and stop on it's own while in drive I been keeping oil changes and everything up to part on it.

I got my chevy Cruze less than 3 years ago. On Tuesday my car turn on the engine light. When I was driving my car started shaking,linking and smoking in the middle of the hwy. I went to the leader on Thursday because I got scared. Denny told I cannot drive my car like that for my safety. I left my car in the leadership. It's being 4 days without answer. My car have full guaranteed and they offered me a courtesy car. So there me without answers and not car. I went to the leader and denny answer it that they don't know when the car going to be fix, but that if I want I can take the car with me. I just can believe no one care about the customer safety. He told me I couldn't drive my car like that now he doesn't care if I get into an accident with a car that shouldn't be drive. They just want me to apply for a new car. When I don't need a new car. I feel my car is still new. I only have it for 2 years and 10 months less than 75k miles. I need someone to help because this car have all this recalls and just because I'm spanish and female they think I won't do nothing about.

My car started shaking, smoking and licking while driving. At first in the dealer told I won't be able to drive the car like that. Now after 3 days without answer they wants to take the car without fixing the car. I'm scare to drive a car that is shaking. I'm very concerned about my life safety.

The contact stated that the water outlet was breaking apart and causing the vehicle to run hot. The vehicle was taken to best Chevrolet (2600 veterans memorial blvd, kenner, la 70062, (504) 315-7790) where the defect was officially diagnosed. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure continued. The Chevrolet manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The catalytic converter needs replaced but unable to be replaced due to vehicle parts are not available.

I have had to replace the turbo 3 times now. My car was leaking oil where the the oil filter is so I replaced that whole part. I watched a video how to replace the part. And it said in the video to remove the plastic piece from the engine oil cooler filter housing if you have a turbo because it feeds oil to your turbo. Well my car had the original part on it and the plastic piece wasn't removed causing no oil to get to the turbo. And the turbo has glowed red hot almost catching fire.

Have had to change out the thermostat three (3) times in one year (March 2018 to March 2019).

My car is constantly shaking and jolting itself forward, lagging in changing gears. I have paid over 5000 dollars in one year to fix this issue and every time I fix something, the light comes back on and a new code is brought up. Always the same problem, never being fixed.

Takata recall. I have a concern that chevy Cruze might have an issue with the turbo of the vehicle. My car is 3 years old and has now experienced a turbo issue. I personally know of 2 other vehicle owners within my area that is currently going through the same issue.

Car jerks and shakes due to engine malfunction. Engine has a manafucters crack and it shakes while stationary and moving.

Engine control module (ecm) keeps going out. Had to replace it twice in 1 year and possibly again soon. The car would start, it would shake a little bit while driving through the city, the ac would stop working as well. If I made frequent stops (running errands) it would eventually not start again. I would have to let it sit for about an hour before I could get it to start again. Dealership identified that it was the ecm but can't figure out why it keeps burning out. So far the warranty has covered this but now it does not. The car had 9000 miles on it when I bought it.

I was experiencing trouble with accelerating and I pulled over and the engine burst into flame and totaled my car. Called 911 and the fire department put int out.

I purchased this 2015 cruz with 18,000 miles on the vehicle from lee johnson Chevrolet in kirkland, wa. It has been back to the mechanic 3 separate times with a complaint that this vehicle excelerates sporadically and without notice. There is no fault codes that come up. The mechanics drive it but this does'nt happen to him, therefore they state that this is not a problem. I feel totally unsafe when this happens and I'm afraid to drive this car. ( I drive with one hand on the gearshift in case this happens so I can put it in neutral immediately. I want this complaint to go on record that I have filed this claim as well as worked with the mechanics on 3 different occasions and feel as if I have no recourse for what I consider a serious problem.

My car has a "knocking" sound, I've been told it's my "lifters" and that my car is too new to sound like this already! I am the first owner and I have taken my car to the dealership since day one for oil changes or any other issues.
