Paint bubbling and rusting alone the car even though it’s washed and is no where near salt never even been hit there are tons of issues with gm paint yall need to fix these and recall every gm car with this issue and wipers are very rough scratching windshield.

Water leak in trunk. Took car in 3 time to have it fixed after them doing the recall( 84279073 f-lamp kit). Every time it went in they found a leak in a different spot. 15feb17 they found water leaking from right side of the spoiler retainer holes. Dealer removed spoiler applied double back tape and sealer. Reinstalled spoiler 02mar17 found pin hole leak in weather strip. Dealer replaced weather strip. 01jan24 start having electrical issues. Hard starting/ running weird and finally dead battery. Had les swabs install battery and remove water in trunk. Car starts but shuts off when driving. 05mar24 dealer finds leak coming from right side spoiler and now 1 licence plat bolt. Charged me 600. 00 . To reseal. Here we go again they could never stop/find the leak before and will not warranty previous work. Isn't this a fire/safty issue? that started the recall in the 1st place. And why wasn't drain plugs required for this yr. Car. I believe it was in the newer one. I would like to know how many people had to take their car in multiple times to never have the problem truly fixed. Is this a tactic used to make consumers go away and say they fixed the recall, but never really did.

Noticed the roof seems to be separating from the body and rusting.

Came to a stop at the stop sign we car wouldn't accelerate tap the gas pedal would accelerate so I pressed harder then car take off pressed breaks car would stop tell I crashed.

We were in a car accident and ended up rear-ending a vehicle that had already stopped. We hit at an estimated speed of 20-25mph and the airbags did not deploy. We were traveling at 45mph when the brakes were hit. It seems like the airbags should have deployed at this speed. We only have minor injuries, but if there is a possibility others could get hurt because of a similar issue I feel that it should be at least looked into. You will be better able to tell if the angle or the crash or something faulty that prohibited the airbags from deploying.

Opened trunk today after car was parked in a parking uncovered in a normal rain (not heavy or severe weather) and water was in trunk around the bottom gasket seal and dip where the trunk latch is. Upon further inspection the water has leaked into the bottom of the trunk where the spare tire and battery is and the trunk liner is soaked at the bottom where it comes in contact with the seal when closed. Unsure as to where the leak is happening as nothing else feels wet around the seals.

2016 Chevrolet Cruze LS rear-windshield outer brake light plastic housing has vertical crack on the right-hand side of the outer plastic housing. Upon researching, this writer found online threads and other complaints of the same issues with the outer plastic housing having a vehicle crack.

High-mount stop light leaking again after recall repair. Screw mounting high mount stop light has backed out again causing leaking onto the headliner and water collecting in the battery tub. Dealer refuses to cover cost of fixing it due to "work warranty" lapsed. Extended warranty refuses to cover it as it is classified as a 'trim piece' even though it is required by d. O. T. I shouldn't have to pay to have this fixed again as it's already a known issue that was recalled once before and their 'fix' obviously didn't work.

My driver's side window fell into the door unexpectedly. No damage, no accident. Just seemed to fall into door with no precursor.

Driving on the freeway at 65 mph and my bumper flew off.

There is a known issues with the 2016+ chevy Cruze models where the top mounted brake light cracks and water leaks into the trunk under the spare tire and into the battery compartment. The water also comes into contact with other electrical components that are between the rear seat and rear quarter panel. This causes a musty/mildew smell in the vehicle and can potentially cause electrical shorts and issues due to the components that are in the affected area. As stated this is a known issue with these cars and a recall was issued for this exact problem but there are many other vins that were affected including mine that were not included in the recall.

Having trouble with the trunk not opening with the key faub or trunk release button or the one on the lid! very aggravating u can hear it clicking like its trying but wont open but when it does it happens as your driving down the road,its happened several times , and for being a 2017 Cruze and not having a cruise control is just stupid! only 2 years old shouldn't be having any problems very annoying!!.

My 2017 Chevrolet Cruze displayed a check engine light one day after driving to the gym from my home (about 7 miles) and sitting for about an hour and half. The check engine light was solid and I drove home without noticing anything odd with the car. Figuring it was a non-issue I let the car sit for about 45 minutes and went back out and turned the car on to see the check engine light was still on. I then got an email from onstar saying that my car had an issue with the transmission system or battery. Finding that concerning I took my car to the nearest Chevrolet dealership. They could not find any major codes and reset the check engine light and sent me on my way. The light came back on the next day. Calling the dealership back I made an appointment to have the car checked by a technician. When I showed up for my appointment I was told I should unplug any cell phone chargers as that could be a possible issue. They reset the cel and I left only to have the light pop back on again within 10 minutes. I then took the car back that day to have a more thorough inspection. They ended up finding rust in the trunk pan. Rust in the bottom of a 2017 vehicle. Sounds like a pretty big defect to me. I was told if I wanted gm to try and fix the vehicle it would result in diminished value for my car. Up to this point, there was no other indication of anything leaking or any other electrical issues. There are many reports of these cars leaking in the trunk area. Time for gm to do something about this issue.

Pulling into a parking space at 5mph, suddenly accelerated out of control went up a bank net and hit a tree trunk. Had to be towed to a gm body shop. Damage is 7000. 00 dollars. No injury to driver.

Trunk wont open at times when hitting the release button inside car or on the keychain. I can hear clicking like its opened but it isnt and it says on the dash screen that it is. But it will open goin down the road while im driving thats very aggravating and dangerous! didnt see any recalls for this but I needed to bring this to your attention. Dont know if anyone else has had this problem. It started doing this a couple months ago. Its just random when it does it!.

Tl the contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact noticed that the high mount brake seal was cracked. The vehicle was taken to hometown Chevrolet Buick GMC (2009 barnes st, reidsville, nc 27320, (336) 634-0050) where it was diagnosed that the third high mount brake light needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 36,829.

My Cruze was evolved in a front end accident that the brakes operation is in question.

The high mount brake light housing fails to seal, allowing water to collect inside the trunk. If unchecked, water could continue to collect and possibly short the fuse box or battery that are located in the trunk. The dealer can replace the seal and/or housing to remedy.

I was involved in a rear-end collision pushing me into another vehicle on 06-06-18. The headliner and drivers seat began to smoke, filling the car. The smoke was white, grey, and smelled of sulphur. In addition, the "service airbag" light appeared on the information display, the flashers/hazards, came on automatically, and the car would not start and had to be towed. The vehicle was slowing, almost to a stop before being hit. Ohio highway patrol accident # 67-0834-67 5 vehicles involved. Unable to upload.

After I had stopped at a red light, I began to start a left turn, when I was impacted by a distracted driver on the driver's side. The other car hit me directly on the driver side front panel, crushing both doors, bending the front axle, and totaling my car. As a result of the impact, my head hit the window, and caused it to shatter, giving me a concussion.

Takata recall window on driver side not going up or down if we get it to go down we have to slam the door 3 times then the window will go up . I haven't had my car a full year yet.

Chevy 2014 Cruze has malfunctioning sensors in the bumper of the car. The car gets wet. The sensors shut down and the battery won't charge and the car comes to a complete stop. The solution from g:m is to replace negative battery cable and the sensors and wire harness . How ever they will not issue a recall and this is very dangerous. My daughters battery went dead on the freeway. After research battery was replaced and negative cable replaced but g:m wants $2800. 00 to replace sensors. . This car has 52,000 miles on it and it's not safe. . G:m admits they upgraded the sensors and harness so it's not supposed to happen again. Won't stand behind the original product. These vehicles are in danger of shutting down at any speed and at anytime. At least they should issue a recall on the negative battery cable not a service bulletin #314. . .

I, chasity combs, was driving and was stopped at a stop light. When the light turned green I proceeded to excel forward. The car was only going between 10-15 miles per hour when without hitting or curbing anything my tire blew. Right after the tire blew all (6) six of my airbags deployed. When the airbags deployed the car quickly filled with smoke like air. The airbags caused me to not be able to see and I steered the car off the side of the road. At such time, onstar came across the speakers and asked if we were in an accident and if we needed the police &/or an ambulance. We yelled to the onstar person that we thought the car was on fire because of the smoke like substance and that we needed the police that we were on only vehicle that had been in an accident. I still have no clue what transpired in the event of the tire blowing especially since I didn't hit anything or curb anything. And I still don't know why the airbags deployed when they shouldn't have. I am educated on the requirements of deployed airbags and never at such time did I ever meet these requirements especially for all (6) six of the airbags to deploy. I never hit anything at a speed of 14 mph, nor was I tee boned from both sides, nor did our car role over. Which is the main reasons for all (6) six of the airbags to deploy. On another note the airbags on the drivers side, my side, deployed with such force that the airbags broke my glasses, my cell phone screen, and broke the ignition key off in the ignition. The airbag that protects the drivers knees left a bruise the size of a grapefruit on my leg. I never seemed medical attention. As for the passenger side airbags, they didn't have any force behind them. The airbags never even touched my wife at all and she didn't have any injuries at all. The tire in which we are discussing is the front passenger tire.

I was experiencing trouble with accelerating and I pulled over and the engine burst into flame and totaled my car. Called 911 and the fire department put int out.

Almost 6 months to the day of purchase, I was planning a trip that required 3. 5 hours of highway driving. The day before my trip, I had an unfamiliar alert, so I took it to autonation under warranty. They found the car had been in a major accident where the front end had been "straightened" and advised me not to risk driving it on the trip. A major accident where the front end had to be straightened was not disclosed to me. Autonation told me to go to offleaseonly, because the warranty was voided by repairs not being done by a chevy dealership. Autonation showed me, while on the lift, the evidence. I contacted offlease and they did not even look at my vehicle and told me that they could not help me. I sent photos and they said they could not help and said I should contact chevy corporate offices and fight for the warranty. I returned to autonation and paid a diagnostic fee of $175. 73 and got specifics on costs which I shared with offlease--$2500 for mechanical repairs and structural repairs would start at $1500 with no guarantee the front end would be as safe and that correcting the shoddy work on the frame could degrade its structure and stability. Autonation said that they are notorious for selling cars like this. Offlease representatives declined to work with me. I provided with the recommendation by autonation that offlease should claim a loss through their insurance and replace my car. Offlease declined and referred me to pepboys for repair, but when asked the estimated cost, they never responded. I only drive in town. I have had to rent/borrow a car for travel to extended distances to avoid the fear. Offlease claims to inspect vehicles well & care about their customers; but they have shown no interest in my safety.

Major front and side impact--no airbag deployment. Entered intersection properly and another driver ran through red light and hit the car in right front, cracking the windshield, and spinning the car around and hitting the right rear side, breaking the right rear wheel off and resting on it sideways. Right front passenger received mild concussion from hitting head on right door glass. Driver and passenger have bruises. Both had seat and shoulder belts on.

The chrome covering over my interior door handles started peeling back. I noticed this when I went to open my drivers side front door and the sharp plating sliced my finger open. After doing some research online this seems to be a common problem, and to me a safety concern. At least it was my finger sliced open rather than one of my children's.

The car was taken in to be routinely serviced and it was noticed that there was an oil leak. The dealership only provide a temporary fix. Trying to get an apt as a followup was pointless, because the dealership indicated that they were busy. Well, the car caught fire and the serv ice dept. Refused to acknowledge that there was a problem and that they were too busy the car was being driven on a highway, there was a popping sound, and then the car caught fire.
