The key becomes very hot in the ignition switch, after driving a while. When, the key is removed it is hot to the touch.
2014 Chevrolet Equinox. Consumer states the ignition lock is heating up to unsafe levels. The consumer stated while driving an hour or more, with the headlights, air, or heater on, the key would be very hot when it was removed from the ignition switch.
