Two problems related to other fuel system tank assembly have been reported for the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. The most recently reported issues are listed below. The vehicle started leaking gas from the tank at the rear after sitting for 20 minutes. This problem has already been recalled on vehicles of this caliber and year, just the all wheel drive version. Not exactly sure how long this has been going on because I typically don't go behind the car. As for the passenger side, the warning light on the mirror stopped working at about 15,000 miles. Very possibly sooner.
There is a fuel link that appears to be coming from where the fuel tank the leak was found when I park the car and let it site for a few hours. A strong fuel smell and a wet spot on the pavement under the fuel tank. I have smelled the gasoline previously but didn't notic the leak until I had something to unload from my trunk.
