Two problems related to other fuel system tank filling/charging have been reported for the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Unknown, but may be the fuel tank itself or the wiring is my guess. I fear whatever is wrong could be effecting the engine. On April 12, 2020 my car didn't fill all the way up with gas. There was a little bit left that needed filling. I was curious why & sent a picture to my mom. The car seemed to be working fine until July 2019. Upon filling it with gas, the pump kept shutting off on me. I took it into the auto repair shop twice (July & August) to have it fixed for the same issue so far & they still haven't been able to fix it. The problem got progressively worse, and after the first visit in July, my car would not fill with gas at all anymore during the second time filling it up. I had to borrow a rental from the auto shop while they tried to fix it for the second time. I eventually got my car back, and when I tried filling it up with gas on the same day I got my car back, it displayed the same issue. The pump kept shutting off on me. Now, my vehicle is doing a weird surging forward motion when I'm barely pressing on the gas.
