Other Fuel System problem #1

My 2021 Chevrolet Equinox, VIN [xxx] , previously showed an active recall related to fuel system and stalling issues. The recall no longer appears under my VIN, but the same dangerous symptoms are happening. The vehicle jerks during acceleration, hesitates, loses power, and stalls while driving. These problems create a major safety concern because the vehicle can suddenly lose power in traffic. The symptoms match the original recall-related issues that were previously associated with this vehicle. I am requesting that the vehicle be inspected for recall-related failures, warranty coverage, special coverage adjustments, or goodwill assistance due to the safety risk involved. I would like documentation showing whether the recall repair was previously completed on this VIN and whether any warranty remains on the repaired or replaced parts. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Other Fuel System problem #2

On way to [xxx] car started hesitating stop at oreily’s they hooked up said 3rd cylinder was misfiring took to bruner Chevrolet I told them what the read out said on the 3rd cylinder misfiring they said catalytic converter was messed up and changed it out drove car home still hesitating went back to bruner Chevrolet I asked them about the recall on the fuel injector module they said my car was not on the recall said it needed the spark plugs and fuel injectors maintenance they did all that then they test drove the car engine light came on said the fuel injector needed to be replaced cost me 866. 33 for all this what I want to know if the fuel injector module wasn’t working properly would it cause all of this my car only has 40,800 miles on it information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Other Fuel System problem #3

My vehicle keeps jerking/stalling/choking but continues to drive. I went to autzone (01/28/2026) and they ran a check on it. The report states it has to with a fuel tank pressure sensor and that an evaporative emission (evap) system large leak was detected. I need to know in what direction do I need to go to get assistance in this matter. Do I take to the dealer manufacturer to fix the problem or do I contact a lawyer? I have another complaint that was filed with the NHTSA #11711799 on January 18/19, 2026 and no resolution was made. That complaint is for a problem with the mass airflow sensor pertaining to the fuel system. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Other Fuel System problem #4

Fuel pump located in the fuel tank, known recall on other Equinoxes of this year and model but not all are covered but it is affecting more than what they are willing to cover putting my safety and other drivers safety at risk.

Other Fuel System problem #5

My vehicle completely stopped. My vehicle would not start. I had to have it towed to a mechanic. I was advise that fuel pump module had to be replaced.

Other Fuel System problem #6

While driving, the car started making a whining sound on acceleration. As I was driving up my street the car went into limp mode and shut down, only allowing enough time to park. If this had happened on a main road or freeway it could have caused an accident due to the sudden loss of power. The issue is the high pressure fuel pump and has been confirmed by a Chevrolet dealer service center. I reported the issue to gm asking for assistance with the repair and to explore whether or not this could fall under the power train warranty. Mileage at the time of the incident was 39113. The only warning lights that appeared came on as the car went into "limp mode" but no warning prior to this incident.

Other Fuel System problem #7

My vehicle has 75,607 miles and the transmission gave out randomly started stalling and jumping and it won’t switch gears correctly and this has been a problem for a lot of other Equinox’s as well.

Other Fuel System problem #8

I was driving in rush hour traffic on a freeway in houston when the engine lost power and stalled out (50 mph) without warning. I had to remain on the freeway while cars whizzed past me. Car finally started back up after 30 minutes of trying. Vehicle only has 8800 miles on it and acted like it had run out of gas as it sputtered before dying. Engine light came on and remained on after it finally started back up. All fluids in range and was at 1/2 tank of gas. In process of diagnostics.

Other Fuel System problem #9

Tire thread is coming off for some reason also my car was stalling to pick up speed like if it was stoping and going.

Other Fuel System problem #10

Chevy Equinox turned off while in the turn lane. Car would not turn back on. No warning was shown prior to the incident but now there is a solid check engine light. Upon googling it seems other chevy's have a fuel pump flow issue causing cars to stall and not turn on. Chevy upon inquiring if our Equinox has a recall they said no even though other 2021 Equinox's have this issue. I believe this is a safety issue, if it is a fuel pump issue how do we know it can't cause the engines to catch fire from improper fueling. This needs to be looked into.
