I was driving home from work on a busy interstate going nearly 60 mph when my traction control light came on, I lost engine power, my car jerked because of this and I was nearly hit from behind. This is a huge safety problem and should be fixed. After reading other complaints about the same issue, when is gm going to do something about this obvious problem for the consumer?.

While driving the check stabilitrak light comes on, and the traction control light as well. There seems to be no problem in handling or operation, but the lights come on and off, then stay on. It has happened 5 to 6 times now. More often lately. The car has 48,000 miles on it. My wife drives it, but it has happened to me as well. When it haas done it for me we were driving at highway speeds. There were no detrimental effects that I noticed. I did not try pulling over and shutting the car off.
Abs and traction control light came on. Feels like brakes are sticking or not responding. I'll be pressing the gas pedal and as soon as I take my foot off it immediately slows down. When I got out, it smelled like burned rubber and smoke was coming from the brake area. I've been to the dealership twice to get it repaired and nothing has worked so far. I got new brakes and rotors put on 3 months ago and they're already worn out. I've only put on about 1200 miles on them.
