The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, during the night and in the rain, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal and jerked violently. The contact jolted violently and was almost thrown off the driver's seat. The contact pulled to the side of the road. Once the vehicle was on the side of the road, the contact noticed white smoke or steam emitting from the rear of the vehicle. The contact was able to continue driving. The vehicle was towed to an independent RV mechanic who diagnosed that the entire front and rear end were damaged: brake springs, brake rotors, brake lines, and brake pads. The vehicle was repaired.
