Catalytic converter cracked at exhaust manifold @5 yrs, 34,600 miles. Known problem, denial, scam warranty allowing them to break ‘clean air act’ and scam customers into paying. On the hook myself for a fed law requiring manufacturers repair. At my shop getting fixed when they offered to fix after my mention of fraud! 3 years of claimed-broken welds in vans (doghouse over motor). I know of 4th year problem. Also not believing bad weld. Engineer friend says stress crack. Weak metal, no support due to flex pipe I believe. Cheap parts, money over safety again. And I have proof they do it and deny, misdiagnose, and lie. Criminal I think. Posting online about warranty scam. I was schooled in auto, small business owner. I know law! given up on gov I’m sorry to say.

When the vehicle approaches 45-50 mph on the highway, the car begins to shake violently, where it feels like the body/frame of the vehicle is going to separate from the car. The only way to resolve/reset this is to bring the vehicle to an almost complete stop and then re-accelerate. When this happens on the highway everyone violently shakes in the vehicle, and it is difficult to quickly bring the car to a halt as other cars are traveling at highway speeds behind the vehicle. Since purchasing this vehicle in 2018 we have had an ongoing issue of the car randomly going into a violent shaking when exceeding speeds of about 60mph, it happens without warning, and other than coming to an almost standstill, it is impossible to recover the vehicle. This is extremely dangerous on the freeway. Have taken the vehicle to Chevrolet dealership multiple times without any resolution. They would charge us for an alignment and this never fixed the problem. This continues to be an ongoing issue, and now having researched it on the internet, I am reading this is not a unique experience by Chevrolet/gm truck owners.

The contact owns a 2022 thor fourwinds motorhome built on a 2021 Chevrolet Express-nav chassis and equipped with an unknown expandable ladder located in the closet of the motorhome. The contact stated that while utilizing the ladder to take a look at the bunk located in the cab of the motorhome, the aluminum brackets of the ladder that she had attached to the bunk brackets to hold the ladder to the bunk, detached and the ladder fell forward while to contact felled 4 ft. On her back. The contact stated that the label indicated that the ladder could hold up to 300 pounds and she weighed 133 pounds. The contact sustained black and blue bruises on the entire right leg. Additionally, the contact sustained pain on the right shoulder. The contact sought medical assistance. The dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to bring the ladder in for replacement. The part was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but did not provide any assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 21,000.

Vehicle shuts down during operation. I just saw there is a recall on your site saying same problem but mine didnt qualify. I have burned wires in harness to instrument panel. I found two wires at harness where code reader plugs into . O was able to ground them but now a couple months later same problem. I found burnt wires in harness and I cannot access to evaluate or replace. I've completed repairs myself, I am poor and dont know any honest affordable mechanics as I am capable of most reasonable repairs. I think my van falls under overheating panel warranty as described by this website. I still have 2 years of payments on van.

I'd be driving down the street when my brakes would apply by them selves slowing my car down . After that my dash would bong and the abs light would come on . I took it to my chevy dealer and they replaced the brakes and said it was fixed . I pulled out of the dealers lot and was driving at 35mph when the brakes locked and a skidded to a stop . If I hadn;t been buckled in I would have gone thru the windshield . I held the gas pedal to the floor and returnd to the dealer at about 20 mph and some salesman came running out and said my van was on fire . I got out of my van but I didn't see any fire but there was heavy smoke coming from around the brakes . The chevy dealer had my van approximately 7 months and said they repaired it twice more , but everytime I picked it up the brakes would go on a short distance away and I would have to take it back . I have been driving the car because the chevy dealer says they can't get the abs module to fix it and I can't drive more than a mile or so from home because the brakes apply themselves and I'm afraid the car will break down or catch on fire . I need a safe car to drive and the chevy dealer says they can't fix it because they can't get the part .

Bought this van new & when traveling down a hill, brake assist helps slow up the van. Once the van is on level ground, it will not shift back out of the brake assist & it takes effort or time to return to normal d. I was told I must set up & find a hill. I had major water leaks in the van & once corrected, there started a whistling of air now. The passenger door was 1/4" off, nowhere near flush. How does that get missed? lastly, the right read brake cylinder went out with less then 12,000 miles on it. Many many problems with this "new" van. I'm concerned for my safely & others. The future looks bad with this lemon.

Front a/c switch to turn a/c off and on and also to go from dash vent to floor vents and defrost will not go to anything but front vents. . .

Takara recall. My chevy Express has vibration in the floor and steering wheel at specific speed, one at 28 to 30 mph, another at 38 to 40 mph and again at 48 to 50 mph. This is very anoying give that the van has only 13k miles on it.

The frame and its crossmembers are rusted (rotted) thru above the gas tank making the van useless. The gas tank is even attached at those areas making it a ticking time bomb. This is a know gm frame problem for many years on many truck bodies.

When I came outside the glass was broken and had been thrown to the outside of the vehicle. The vehicle had been driven the day before and was fine. It was parked in the shade and away from anything which could have hit it. It was locked and not touched in any way. The broken fragments were on the ground below the glass frame area. It is the same type of glass that I saw in the story on the news yesterday about the sun roofs that break. When I saw the story I knew this had to be the explanation. I have a picture and the text I sent that day because I was so shocked at how something like this could happen, it made no sense. Now it makes perfect sense.

While transporting a patient in this ambulance the dash warning notice came on warning the def tank level was low and the vehicle would soon go into limp mode. The def tank had just been filled to full. Strange readings continued to appear warning of either just a few miles or over 2000 miles. I was afraid of having a patient die in our ambulance if the ambulance went into limp mode on a long transport to phoenix so I took the ambulance to the dealer who replaced the def tank for $1547. 33. I was told by rose at the gm customer complaint line that emissions problems should have been covered by warantee but I cannot get my money back. Gm states they have no reports of this problem occurring but the internet is full of similar complaints.

Passlock security system constantly won't allow van to start. Chevrolet says to have the system "relearn the key" by waiting for 10 min then trying to start the vehicle. It sometimes takes 3-4 tries of doing this before it starts.
