1 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2010 Chevrolet HHR

Failure Date: 04/01/2015

While putting on new seat covers I noticed the bottom seat belt swivel attachment to the car rusted. Checked both front seats and they were both crusty rusted. This can't be good. I have pictures to verify my finding. Awaiting your reply. Thank you.

2 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2008 Chevrolet HHR

Failure Date: 05/23/2013

My power steering went out on my 2008 Hhr while I was making a left hand turn, I had to jerk the steering wheel back to avoid going into the oncoming traffic. I have had this problem ever since with the steering going out and having to wrestle with it. I took the vehicle to the Chevrolet dealer ship to complain in cape coral, FL. And they told me it would cost me to fix the problem. I find that this is a severe safety issue and a general motors CO. Defect that I should not beheld responsible for to pay. Please check into this problem and see if there is anymore complaints on this steering problem.

3 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2006 Chevrolet HHR

Failure Date: 03/01/2011

The inside door handle has broken off completely there is no way to get out of the car unless you roll down the window and they are electric? now the passenger side still has the handle but it does not work either? they are cheaply made but should last longer than 5-6 years. So after calling Chevrolet and seeing if there were any recalls or service bulletins for this issue I was told to take my car to the nearest dealership and have them check it out. So I did and they told me that it would cost 497. 00 per door because they would have to replace both inside door panels. It is not a safety hazard and there are no bulletins to fix this? what happens if I get in an accident and my windows don't go down because they are electric? this to me is a safety hazard! I will not be able to get out of my car! I call it my kidnapping car because you can get in but you can't get out unless you roll down the window and use the outside handle.
