Tl-the contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Hhr. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 40 mph, the vehicle crashed into a vehicle that cut him off. The contact stated that his child that was secured in his child seat was injured when the rear seat release lever failed. The child seat moved forward however, the child struck his head. The child suffered a contusion but no other injuries. The driver, the child in the child seat and two other passengers in the vehicle sustained minor injuries but sought medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed from the accident site however, the contact was unaware of where it was taken. The vehicle was not repaired. Neither a dealer nor the manufacturer were notified. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000. The VIN was not available. The vehicle was destroyed. Ah.
