Seats Problems of Chevrolet HHR

Smell of gas ,engine running . Check car and there is a fuel leak by the left rear wheel at fuel lines right above exhaust pipe. Fuel leaking on the exhaust. This right at fuel line retainer . Their is a heat shield on the lines . This full of gravel ans debris, lines are rusted and leaking , this is very dangerous,result could be a fire! fuel puddled on ground.

Chevrolet Hhr 2009, doors mechanism. Door latches stop working and can open at a turn or while driving. Or latch can lock you in unable to get out of vehicle in an accident and or emergency. I was driving home and back door flew wide open I had not opened it at all but when doors lock and open they all do so the back latch opened never closing unaware of this the door flew open almost causing an accident at an intersection.

Blew out a tire,spun 180 degees facing on coming traffic,head on collison with Ford pick up. Highway speed. Air bag deployed. Motor for drivers seat apparently broke off and drivers seat slid forward ,pinning drivers legs between seat and bottom of dash board,resulting in breaking both femurs,right knee and knee cap with compound feactures. Seat motor was found in front floorboard , near brake pedal ,with plastic mounting ears broken off and screws still in place. Seat appears to be further forward than seat adjustment would allow.

I have had numerous problems first off my dash lights will flicker while driving sometimes the radio and dash won't work at all, backs of my driver and passenger seats have fallen off, both driver and passenger door handles are broke the drivers handle is completely broke off, also when it rains my passenger floor board fills up with water, my seats are so dirty looking cause something keeps bleeding through upolstery, ignition and shift lever had to be replaced today cause car wouldn't go into park and key wouldn't come out!! also the car used to slide when on a corner or rough road!! this is ridiculous!! the door handles is a safety hazard god for bid if I'm in a wreck or my car starts on fire I won't be able to get out of my car and I can't afford to have them fixed right now because I recently lost my job!!.

The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Hhr. The contact stated that the heated seat warmer for the front driver's seat caught on fire. The contact stated that the vehicle was powered off at the time of the failure. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer, but they were unable to provide a specific cause for the failure. The failure and current mileages were 36,000.

Driver armrest sags; most uncomfortable!! when armrest is put down to the horizontal position, it sags (leans forward). Driver's right arm becomes painful, as it is continually sliding off the front edge of the armrest, when driving. I've had the car to the dealer; he replaced the armrest in warranty, but the leaning forward position is just the same---it was not cured. The dealer said there was nothing further to be done. Incidentally, the passenger's armrest is just fine---it is positioned at the proper right angle. Incidentally, noone has sat on, or heavily leaned on the armrest to cause the difficulty. Sure would appreciate your help with this aggravating problem.

A lady ran a red light on springridge rd just south of jackson ms. Wife was driving across springridge rd. The lady failed to yield and struck wife in drivers side totaling three cars in the process wife was severely injured (11 days in hospital) no airbag was deployed during accident. Still working on full recovery.
