The vehicle was taken for regular checkup when results showed that the brake pads were falling off and the rotors needed to be replaced. There was no sign of repair prior to this occasion, which could have been dangerous if the vehicle was traveling on the highway and the brakes did not operate.
Front brake rotors warped at apprx causeing sreerwheel and front end shake when brakes are applyed pads were in perfect condition,dealer said was bad driving habits,rotars need to be turned or replaced. Pads shold have shown more wear and previous cars had never had this happen so was not driving hadits,majority of miles were highway miles.
There is a vibration in the steering column and in vehicle whenever brakes are applied at any speed. Consumer took vehicle to dealership, and was informed that rotors were warped. Please provide any additional information/attachments.
Both front brake rotors were warped, dealer stated that rotors would have been undersized if resurfaced. Both front rotors were replaced. Majority of miles were highway miles.
When applying brakes there is a noise. Rotors were turned at 5000 miles. Braking distance was okay. Currently, rotors need either to be turned or replaced.
The front rotors have also been replaced.

Brake rotors accumulate rust if vehicle sits for more than 2 weeks. When this occurs and the brake pedal is depressed, it fails to stop the vehicle immediately. This results in extended stopping distance. The rust wears off when brake pedal is continuously applied. The cause of the rust is undetermined.
When braking wheels shake. Took vehicle to dealer, and dealer turned the rotors.
The consumer states that on two occasions the rotors were out of round, and another occasion the rotors pitted out of round, and the last occasion the rotors were pitted and warped. The rotor repair was covered and the consumer states that she was told that there shouldn't be anymore problems. The manufacturer chooses not to address the problem. The consumer aslo states that her sister has experienced the same problem.
