Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the vehicle's speedometer fails to read accurately. The contact stated that when they are driving at various speeds, the speedometer would read at various speeds. The contact stated that the speedometer would even read pass 120 mph which the contact had never driven at such high speeds. The contact had not contacted the dealership. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and referred the contact to NHTSA to file a complaint. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000. Gl.
