1 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 12/10/2017

The driver side sun visor does not stay up and it falls into your view when driving. This is a common issues with these cars. This should be a safety recall as it could fall into view of the windshield unexpectedly and cause a car crash.

2 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 02/04/2015

Just purchased on 02/02/2015 the car comes with remote start so cleaned the icey snow off the car and windows. Got into the drivers side put on my seatbelt the the car had shut off after warming up. So I put the key in and started the car pushed the the the spray button. The passenger side worked the drivers side did not. After going online I found out page after page of complant's why no recall this is a safety issue they say it cost $300. 00 to 600. 00 each side gm made the problem they should bay to fix it.

3 Wiper problem

The contact owns 2006 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the rear passenger's side power window assembly failed. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the power window regulator assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 82,562.

4 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 06/28/2014

There is a very common problem with 2006-2013 Impala rear defrosters not working. Look on youtube and you will see the problem is very evident. Gm/chevy used a small bulkhead connector for the high current defroster wires located on the passenger side kick plate of the 2006-2013 Impala's that burns out. This really should be a recall due to a fire hazard. The "how to" fix on you tube looks like it will work, but this really should be addressed and fixed by gm. Inexperienced mechanics trying to fix this may get hurt, let alone increasing the electrical/fire hazard by improperly "fixing" the problem. Gm is recalling their vehicles for everything else so why not fix a known problem? sad for people in winter climates not being able to see out their rear window due to this systemic problem associated with the Impala.

5 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2013

The inside of the cars windows would fog and then ice up during last years winter. Could not see out the windows except small area of drivers side front window. Took into dealerships twice and they could not figure out why or fix it.

6 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 03/12/2012

Windshield wipers stopped working while driving on highway in rain. 2nd failure in 19 months. Wiper transmission assembly replaced both times.

7 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 08/22/2010

Driving on interstate highway in a rain storm - the windshield wipers abruptly stopped. Dealer installed new wiper transmission 8-23-10. I asked if this happened very often. Dealer said after I called, they had another call for the very same thing. This was a very dangerous situation.

8 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 12/02/2009

I was driving down the street and my windshield wipers stopped working. It was raining hard and my vision was totally obscured. I had to wait until the rain abated to continue on my journey. I contacted a gm service center and was informed that I would need to buy a new motor although the current motor works just fine however the rubber around the arm that attaches to the motor is cracked. This should not occur in a car that is not that old.

9 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 06/19/2009

I have a 2006 chevy Impala that the windshield wipers and came on and would not turn off along with window cleaner spraying non stop, this also caused turn signals to stop working and keys to be locked into car. I had to pull over to the side of the road because I could not see with all the spraying.
