I have a 2008 chevy Impala, nice car unless it snows. It is undrivable in the smow. Its like driving on ice, I have never ever had any car handle like this. It is the most unsafe car I have ever driven. Something needs to be done the draler says to bring it in next time it smows, well I can't, I will not drive it in the snow. I have been in the ditch 3 times this winter ( and its only the firts of January)and each time I was only going no morer than 30mph and swaying all over the road, all the other cars were moving along norrmally it wasn't bad out, just a little snow. It's like driving on ice. . .
2008 Impala LS,with new tires. Have never driven a car that handles worse in the snow. The traction control system is a joke. It actually makes driving in the snow unpredictable and unfamiliar. I am very experienced on ice and snow but this car makes me feel unsafe because it is. I wish I would have never purchased this car based on this reason. All this in only 1 1/2 inches of dry snow.
Car has no traction. The least bit of snow and I can not even get out of my own driveway. The car slides left and right no matter the amount of snow. Tires spin with only a slight covering of snow on the road. Tires spin when there is only wet pavement.
