Tl-the contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet malibu . The contact stated that he observed in his rear view mirror his brake lights failed to illuminate while being depressed. The contact then stated that his brake lights would illuminate with out the brake being depressed. The failure is persistent. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that brake sensor needed to be replaced but not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
