After stopping for fuel approximately 900 miles from home, after filling the vehicle, started the car and as we pulled out of the gas station, the transmission slipped out of gear and into neutral without any forward or reverse gearing. Upon placing the vehicle in park, turning the engine off and and restarting the vehicle, it moved forward and the transmission totally disengaged as before. Onstar vehicle diagnostics reported a non coded total failure. The vehicle was towed to the closest gm dealer and we were told that it maybe a week before they can give us any specifics to its cause, repair or warranty coverage.
