Side detection system quit working. However it is connected to the main computer so sometimes my car will idle poorly and rev high. This could present a huge problem if it revs high when trying to brake for a car in front of me. I have also heard people with the same model having issues with it stalling. So this presents it's own problems. Seems no different than the loss of power like gm had with their ignition switches.
