Air bag sensor started to come on randomly.
With no particular trigger, my sensors started to fail one by one. Then, my radio touch display went out. Now, my car will randomly shutdown while driving, go into theft mode, or have the entire dash system malfunction, leaving me with little to no functionality other than steering. A detailed thread of the issue and others having these issues can be found in the following forums. . Read more...
I have had my 2015 Impala at dealership twice for my airbag sensor on passenger seat and have paid money out of my pocket for this repair. This year and model car had a recall on airbags but the dealership said even though it is not a wear and tear item but a safety one I still had to pay out of my pocket. With this year having issues with airbag and this being the seat sensor I believe this safety issue should be covered, my tcn number is ain16-53807.
