The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 mph and ascending a grade, the vehicle lost forward momentum. The contact depressed the accelerator pedal; however, the vehicle revved but failed to respond as needed. The contact stated that she shifted the vehicle into reverse (r) and drove back down the hill. The contact stated that the transmission failure was intermittent at first but had gradually become a recurring failure. The contact stated that at the first failure there were no warning lights; however, in the later failures the transmission overheated warning light would become illuminated. The contact stated that prior to the failure the transmission had begun to jerk and hesitate. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 151,343.

Was driving and lost power steering. Message came up stating power steering service drive with caution. Drove straight to dealership.

Vehicle jerks and shakes when I accelerate. Took to dealership stated torque issue in transmission. New transmission needed. Purchased Nov 2020 from same dealership only has 112500 miles. This should be recall.

When driving up hill at low speed a rough cluck occurs when gear changes take place between 2nd to 1st gear.

I had a check engine light when I went and checked it it was a p236 code in a p069e I also went to check it because I noticed my car was starting up funny.

Tl the contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Impala. While driving approximately 45 mph, the vehicle stalled and jerked forward. In addition, the emission system and check engine warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to crest Chevrolet (909 w 21st st, san bernardino, CA 92405, 909-713-6481) where the battery was replaced, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer where it was diagnosed that there was an unknown valve leak. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. While driving approximately 45 mph, the vehicle jerked and caused the contact to lose control. The vehicle crashed into a concrete divider and the front driver's side tire blew out. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle was damaged and towed to the same dealer. A police report was not filed. There were no injuries. The manufacturer was called, but no one answered the phone. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 37,000.

9 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 02/25/2017

In motion: unknown: while driving on an interstate, speed 74 set by cruise control, the car jerked like it was going into passing mode and made a horrific sound. The interstate we were on in mississippi was on a flat road. My husband and I thought the rear end had come out or it was about to blow up.
