While on the freeway the service stability traction light came on and I begin to loose power I tried pushing the off button after a few miles it went back to normal and the next day it happened again so I pulled to the side of the road and turned the car off hoping to reset it but the car would not start back up. I've had my starter checked, my battery, my alternator all those came out fine but the car won't start and the mechanics are saying they haven't seen anything like this before that the traction system will keep the car from starting. Also prior to this I would hear a throotling sound as well to me it sounded like a tire was loose so k even had that checked but I believe it's connected to this traction light that came own before the car was turned off.

I've only had this car for 7 months and just a couple days ago the stability light and engine light came on and it felt like my car was losing power. I parked and let it sit for a while and it was fine but the next day the same thing.

The cruise control button sticks, when being pushed it clicks hard to get to work. The most important started a couple of weeks ago with the steering wheel on moving and pushing the gas makes a clunky and grinding sound and feel, the vehicle does not go anywhere then, the stability light comes on. The car starts moving, and the wheel frees up and the light goes out. This is every time I'm turning left after from a stopped position.

Service stability track light turns on and off. Car will lose some speed while driving for a second, like the abs kicks on when it isn't supposed to. Had happened while driving 50 mph on the highway, car will lose some speed while the light indicating abs has activated for some reason.

First item,driving stability light came on twice how to go to dealership for repair. Second item, passenger side low beam light issue, replace bulb three times can't identify problem with the connection or wiring issue. To replace bulb, requires removal of front end bumper in order to complete project. Problem occurred while night driving on highway.

Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that while making a left turned at a low speed, a grinding sound was coming from the engine. The brake assist, traction control, stability control and abs warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for a diagnostic testing of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage mileage was 74,000. Aw.

Power steering was lost, stability light came on - was told this was due to erosion - had repaired at my cost - extended warranty would not cover as techician stated my fault although apparently this area is not visible during normal service. Now the car twice has not started at all - all electronic sensors go dead. Have taken to Chevrolet dealer and they are unable to determined what is wrong. At least every other time I turn on car, the stability light or steering light come on, as well as the park assist light. I wait for about 10 minutes or so, try again, and they may or may not go off. 2 - the rear view mirror fell off during the first month I purchased, so it was under warranty and they "re-glued) it several times - finally it was recalled, and replaced about 15 months ago, now the mirror is doing the same thing again. 3- last is the pillar trim - it peeled and I had to have replaced at my cost - this should not have occurred. I fear I have a lemon, but more importantly I am not receiving the service necessary from Chevrolet dealer - I have maintained the service on my car through the dealer, but so many unanswered concerns leaves me at risk for accident should car just stop!.

While driving the electronic stability control light comes on. Power is lost. Have to stop, turn car off and turn back on. The engine light still stays on. This has happened while driving on city streets and while stopped at a light. This has happened 3 times in the last month.

Abs and stability control lights came on 3days ago.

Tl-the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the stability track light went bad. In result of this vehicle will only go into drive, the radio went bad and the heat will not function properly. The contact will restart the vehicle and the engine did reset. Somehow now that stability light will not function. All warning lights illuminated on the control panel. The vehicle was not towed. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic. The vehicle was placed on the lot and had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 52,000. Jw.

When taking left turns the car makes a loud grind noise then the stability controll will turn on. Now the check engine light and stability controll light popped on while driving while also having engine power reduced which then applied my brakes causing me to almost go off the road.

Did come on until I started putting miles on it now the abs tracking control light stability light won�t. Go off.

While driving I hit the brakes. Then the stability light vame on. Along with brake assist and traction light. After this the car does not wanna reverse makes a horrible grinding noise. There is always something wrong with this car.

I have about 72,000 miles on my car and the service stabilitrak, service brake assist and service traction control messages come on and the abs and electronic stability control light also are on. It happens when turning left or right and also the abs kick in and effects the steering. I have replaced the right and left hub assemblies and it has not helped no codes are found when vehicle is scanned. This has been going on for several months. Thanks for your help. This will all happen in drive way and on city roads/highways.

My power steering quit working the stability light came on and it feels like my parking brake is sticking there's recalls for all these issues but when I type in my VIN it says there's no recalls for my car.

When making right or left turns at times you will get a grinding in the front also some hesitation stability light abs light also the brake assistant warning will flash this is a safety factor that has been bought to chevy's attention with no results. Safety is priority at least it suppose to me, at the moment it is not chevorlet.

I have had my 2010 Chevrolet Impala LS for about one year now. It currently has 164,000 miles. The following problem started happening about 6 months after I bought it, during the winter months. While driving at any speed in any kind of weather (but happens more often in cold weather) two lights pop up, the check engine light and the stability track light. I also get three display messages, service stabiltrack, service traction control and engine power is reduced. Half of the times that this occurs my car literally shuts off while driving and a different message is displayed stating engine power shutting down. I lose all control of vehicle, power steering, gas etc. This only happens when going at high speeds ,which is even more dangerous. I turn the car off, if I immediately try to turn it back on it does nothing, if I wait a minute or so it will turn over. At this time usually all display and lights are off except the check engine light. Which does eventually go away. This is a very dangerous situation and needs to be fixed or a recall is in order. There are far too many people that have gone through this similar situation.

I lose all control of vehicle, power steering, gas etc. This only happens when going high speeds, which is even more dangerous. I turn the car off. If I immediately try to turn it back on it does nothing. I must wait a minute or 2 before it will turn over. At this point usually all display and lights are off, except the check engine light. Which eventually does go away. This is a very dangerous situation and needs to be fixed ASAP!!!.

While driving and accelerating to get on the highway the electronic stability control "stabilitract" light popped up on the dash screen and reduced the engine's power, reducing my speed to a maximum of 30 mph when trying to accelerate to the posted 55 mph speed limit. I was traveling in a straight line when the "stabilitract" & "engine power being reduced" information popped up. The car would not go over 30 mph. This caused me to have to pull over and nearly caused an accident due to the slow nature of the vehicle, even with the emergency flashers on. This is several incidents with this particular car, having electronic failure. The worst of it was when the collision sensor was affected by a leak in the car after having to have the windshield replaced due to the rear view mirror falling off. That incident caused the car to slam on it's breaks due an electrical error. This car has been in the shop for numerous electrical issues. Chevrolet has refused to do anything but the bare minimum to get the car back on the road obviously not fixing the root of the problem, as this is once again an electrical issue. Not safe to drive if the electronics are going to continue to fail.

I was driving on my way home and the stability light came on and the traction control light came on too.

When I turn my car on the abs light stays on, driving stability light stays on, and the emergency brake light stays on even if I have it disengaged.

The abs traction control, brake assist and stability control warning light coming on intermittently while driving & making a left turn a grinding & slippage noise can be notice(very unsafe to drive). Had it checked and code reading left front hub, had both hubs replaced and still have problem! looks like many owners have the same problem, should be on a recall!.

12,000 miles stability control , and abs light came on service required. Light stays on 5-10 minutes goes out randomly dealers baffled for the cause, dealer says unless they can duplicate it, warning light to come on they can't service. ,I went for an oil change at midas they checked it said it was the wheel bearing sensor that governs that I replace the wheel bearing , okay for a while now back on again in less than a thousand miles. Stability control is very valuable for cars nowadays so this is definitely a safety factor if stability control is lost. Reports on the internet of people replacing all the wheel bearings on the front hubs and everything and still having the same problem so this is not an isolated incident.

January 31,2016 I was driving at a speed of 55mph all of a sudden my car speed gave three stalled jerks I immediately put on me emergency flashers because two other vehicles were behind me. From that point on I drove at a much slower speed; wasn't sure if my car was going to cut off in the middle of traffic or not. It was scary because this could have been a terrible accident. The traction stability -service light came on. My car was serviced for this very thing April 2015. Why I am having this same problem?.

Driving along and car just accelerated and could not get it to stop or slow down. Traction control light came on, engine reduce power, low engine power, service stability trak, check engine light. I was pushing down on the brake trying to get the car to stop or at least slow down but the car seems as if it was getting fasting then it made a jerk and I bumped my head against the window, and my foot got stuck under the pedal and knee got jammed . The airbag light will not go out, the stability control light comes on and the car loses power and the engine starts to cut off. I have sent my car to the dealership twice for the same problem I have even called the Chevrolet corporate office. Each time I get a different answer as to what the problem is the first time. I was told it was sensors that needed to be replace and that it would cost $1200. This time I was told it was the spark plugs that is causing the car to shut down and the cost would be around $400 or $500. The first service in July my receipt says they did a multi-point inspection would that not tell them my plugs were bad? my car is still at friendly Chevrolet in dallas can you please help. My daughter drives this car and she a high risk pregnancy.

Cranked up the car to go home. Stability light and "engine" light was on. While on the interstate passing a truck the engine died. Display center indicated service stability track and reduced engine power. Coasted over to rt. Shoulder. Car would not restart for about 30 sec. Cranked it up and made it home. Trouble code is p2138 which seems to indicate the throttle position sensor d/e voltage. Will take to dealer in am.

The traction control, stability track and abs lights all came on. The engine power reduced light came on and engine power was lower. I had the left speed sensor replaced and the accelerator sensor replace on August 8th after the dealership had fixed this problem in April and again in June. I was told they changed sensors then also, but I am not sure of which ones at that time. I am now having the same problem for the forth time. Replacing the sensors every few months is getting expensive. Also not very safe. I contacted gm and the woman told me to take it back to the dealership to be fixed again. I have fixed the same issue three times already. They were of no help at all.

While driving down side streets, my car locked up. Later my stability control light came on. Seems to grab and pull car in a jerking motion. Turned off control for the stability but afraid to drive on expressway.

While I was driving the service stability pack and traction control light came on and immediately after the reduced engine power came on. The car then jerked, and shut off while I was still driving, and wouldn't start again until approximately 30 minutes later. There were no wet nor road hazard conditions that would have caused this to happen. Furthermore, I was driving at 60mph when this occurred in moderate traffic and almost got rear ended. This is a very unsafe issue, and I was told that the gas pedal needs to be replaced. Since then my vehicle has done this several times. This issues needs to be recalled because a lot of individuals have complained about having the same issues with the Impala. What is it going to take an injury or fatality for a recall on these vehicles. Moreover, any vehicle that shuts off while driving at any speed because of an issues with throttle body/gas pedal needs to be recalled because this is a major safety issue.

While driving down the road service traction control reduce engine power and stability control light came on. Car engine lost power and I thought it was going to blow up it made the whole car shake. You shut it off for a few and restart it and its like nothing ever happened. Not to happy about this I have not had the car a year. Guess a person needs to die from this matter before there is a recall on this what a joke. And the worst is chevy will not cover any of this even if the car is under a warranty.
